I went yesterday for a fill-in and noticed my right thumb nail is loose, It doesn't aching, it doesn't attending gross.....actually it is a pretty nail. Why is this current, how can I prevent it and what accomplish I accomplish since it is loose however not ready to fall off? There has never been an injury to my thumb either.

So approximately 9 of months ago I kicked a rock and my ample toe became atramentous and the left side of my toe nail started to fall off however never completley fell off. The it pretty even all the way grew back and then I went and got a pedicure with my girlfriend and a couple weeks subsequent it became infected underneath the left side. Any more the skin in the left side is adamantine and hurts really poor when you touch it. Any help on treatment?
